Album reviews

Unplugged In New York
Geffen (1994)
Nirvana's Unplugged In New York is a wonderful record, a brief moment of calm among almost constant tumult. Recorded just five months before Kurt Cobain took his own life, it was an awful time for the band. Cobain was hopelessly addicted to heroin.

In Utero (Recommended)
Geffen (1993)
Like a broken promise, Nirvana's third album, In Utero, hints at greatness to come -- only to have it snuffed out less than a year after its release with the suicide of the band's heart and soul, Kurt Cobain.

Nevermind (Recommended)
Geffen (1991)
With "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Nevermind Nirvana firmly planted the Alternative Nation's flag on the Iwo Jima of our aural conscience.
