Album reviews
In Your Honor
Roswell/RCA (2005)
In Your Honor is 20 songs, sequenced in an irritating and counterintuitive manner, and destined to go on the shelf unlistened-to next to most every other double-album of its ilk.
There Is Nothing Left To Lose
RCA/Roswell (1999)
Dave Grohl's music has a lot to live up to. A hell of a lot to live up to, actually -- after all, Grohl raised the roof behind Nirvana's drumkit, powering what still stand up as some of the best pure rock songs of the decade.
The Colour And The Shape
Capitol (1997)
To be fair, Dave Grohl has a lot to live up to.
Foo Fighters (Recommended)
Roswell/Capitol (1995)
Almost five years after the would-be anthems, the Courtney references and the tight pop hooks, the first thing that comes to mind about the Foo Fighters' self-titled debut is that kick-ass drum fill in between "This Is A Call" and "I'll Stick Around."
